The Escrow Safeguard Mechanism

To ensure total peace of mind and eliminate fraudulent transactions, Mentorfinders employs an automated Escrow Vault System for all paid bookings.

How Escrow Works For You:

When a session is booked or a marketplace proposal is accepted, your funds are safely held in escrow. Payment is never released to the mentor until 48 hours after the meeting is successfully conducted, giving you full protection in case of unexpected technical issues or non-attendance.

Mentor Cancellations & 100% No-Show Guarantee

If a session does not take place due to reasons attributable to the Mentor, mentees receive an immediate, unconditional 100% refund:

Mentor Decline or Early Cancellation

If a mentor declines your booking request or cancels before the scheduled meeting, the escrow hold is voided immediately and 100% of your funds return to your wallet.

15-Minute Mentor No-Show Rule

Mentors have a 15-minute grace period to join the video session room. If the mentor fails to join, the session is marked as "Mentor No-Show" and your payment is instantly refunded to your Mentorfinders wallet.

Mentee Cancellation & Rescheduling Rules

To respect the busy professional schedules of our verified mentors, cancellation refunds are tiered according to advance notice:

48-Hour Session Dispute & Support Review

If a session took place but suffered from major technical failure, unfulfilled deliverables, or poor conduct, you can submit a dispute claim within 48 hours from your Financial Ledger.

1 Mentee submits dispute statement & reason via the Financial Ledger.

2 Administration desk reviews session logs, chat transcripts, and audio/video records.

3 Resolution is issued within 3 business days (with full/partial wallet reimbursement).

Wallet Credits & Cashout Withdrawals

All approved refunds are instantly credited to your Mentorfinders Wallet, available immediately to book another session or mentor.

Cashout to Original Bank / Card: If you wish to withdraw funds back to your original credit card, bank account, or mobile wallet (bKash/Nagad), submit a cashout request from your Financial Desk. Withdrawals are processed and disbursed within 5 to 7 business days.
